🏅 Michael Jordan Cards Breaks Record

Per GoldinCo, a 1-of-1 Michael Jordan Card sold for the most money a MJ Card has ever gone for this past Saturday night…$2.9M. ESPN.com writes that the card received an “Authentic” grade and a perfect score of 10. This card contains the first Jordan Logoman to feature a Chicago Bulls jersey.

Although the most expensive Jordan card to sell, it doesn’t get close to the top grossing card sales of all time. Baseball legends Mickey Mantle, Honus Wagner, and Babe Ruth hold the top 3 spots in what their cards sold for. Mantle’s 1952 Topps card sold in 2022 for $12.6M.

Matthew Tkachuk, Alex Barkov, and Sam Reinhart are most likely the three names that come to mind when speaking of the source of success for the Florida Panthers…but don’t forget the veteran goaltender, Sergei Bobrovsky. With 700 games played, and in his 14th season, the goalie called “Bob” has found a home in Sunrise, Florida.

Riding a season long .915 save percentage to the Stanley Cup Finals, Bobrovsky played in 58 of 82 games this season for the Ps. He joined the Panthers in 2019 after stops in Columbus and Philadelphia and has been starting majority of the games for the Panthers since 2021.

This has been Bobrovsky’s 3rd playoff run in a row as a starter with the Panthers and played 10 games in the 2018-2019 playoffs for the Blue Jackets. His save percentage is around league average, but watching the games, the amount of timely saves Bobrovsky makes seems to be the separator between him and his counterparts.
